Terms of Use

Effective date: September 28, 2026

These terms cover Pocket Digicam: Y2K CCD Cam (package app.filmode.digicam), a camera app for Android published by FightTech VN. By installing or using the app you agree to them. In short: the app is free to use, Pro is an optional Google Play purchase, the photos you take are yours, and the bundled sample photos stay under their authors' licences.

The app

Pocket Digicam imitates small cameras from around the year 2000. The camera names (Mochi 32, Sunny 35, Paper 27, Pop Instant, Flip VGA, Kira CCD, DV-99 and Luxe 35) are invented for the app and are not products of, or affiliated with, any camera maker. We may change, add or remove features and cameras in updates.

Pocket Digicam Pro

• Pro unlocks the Kira CCD, DV-99 and Luxe 35 cameras, a custom date stamp and HD files. It is sold through Google Play as a monthly or yearly subscription or as a one-time purchase, at the price Google Play shows in the app for your country.
• A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions. If a plan offers a free trial, you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
• A one-time purchase unlocks Pro for the Google account that bought it, on any phone where that account installs the app. Use Restore purchases on the Pro screen after reinstalling.
• Payments, refunds and trials are handled by Google Play under Google Play's terms and refund policy. We cannot see or change your payment details. For a refund, ask Google Play first; you can also email us.
• Everything outside Pro is free, without a time limit or a cap on shots.

Your photos

The photos you take or import stay on your phone in Pictures/Pocket Digicam, and they are yours. We claim no rights in them. You are responsible for what you photograph and share, including the consent of the people in your photos and local rules about photography.

Sample photos

The eight sample photos in the app are Wiki Loves Monuments winners from Wikimedia Commons, and they belong to their authors. Each is used under the licence shown in the app under MENU → Settings → Photo credits (CC0, CC BY 4.0, CC BY-SA 3.0 or CC BY-SA 4.0), which also names the author and links to the Commons page. The app resizes and re-encodes them, and developing one through a camera makes an adapted copy. If you share or publish such a copy, credit the author as the licence requires, for example: Photo: Maksym Popelnyukh / Wikimedia Commons, CC BY 4.0. For a CC BY-SA photo, the adapted copy must be shared under the same licence. The app writes the author and licence into the copy's EXIF data to help with this.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app to break the law or to infringe other people's rights. Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.

Our content

The app's design, code, camera looks, names and artwork belong to FightTech VN or its licensors. Open-source components are used under their own licences. The sample photos are covered above.

Privacy

How the app handles data is described in the Privacy Policy. In short: your photos are never uploaded and there is no account.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it reliable, but we do not promise that it will be error-free or that it will work on every phone. Keep copies of photos that matter to you: phones can be lost, reset or damaged.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, FightTech VN is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost photos or data, arising from the use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

Changes

We may update these terms, for example when features change. The effective date above will change, and continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new terms.
